Unless you live under a rock, then you already know that Death From Above 1979 have finally stopped teasing us and posted a new song called “Trainwreck 1979”. The bad news is they made a lyric video. But the song is really good and as far as lyric videos go, I’ve seen much worse. So they get a pass on this one. If you’re counting, that’s two lyric videos I’ve posted in a row.
For those of you who actually are living under a rock, the new album falls from the sky September 9th and is titled The Physical World. Here’s the confirmed track listing:
“Cheap Talk”
“Right On, Frankenstein!”
“Virgins”
“Always On”
“Crystal Ball”
“White Is Red”
“Trainwreck 1979”
“Nothin’ Left”
“Government Trash”
“Gemini”
“The Physical World”
They also just posted a slew of tour dates. There’s nothing in my neck of the woods yet, but I’m pretty sure that Stephen Harper will make them come here again eventually. For the rest of you, the confirmed dates are below.
