Ever year there is always one band that sneaks right up and knocks me on my ass. In 2010 that band is Kvelertak.
I guess where these dudes are from it’s perfectly fine for your Turbonegro and Immortal records to bump uglies, then leave something wadded up on the carpet that resembles a catchier, drunker Refused. As a connoisseur of the rock, I have no choice but to pick up that wad and throw it at you.
Check out their video for “Mjød” below. I have no idea what they are singing about. But there’s lots of blood and I think someone is going to get down with a dead person at the end. Or poop on it. Video of the year? I think so.
